No optional tracking in this site code
The supplied HTML, CSS and JavaScript set no cookies and contain no analytics, advertising pixels, embedded third-party players or external code dependencies. Photographs are requested as local website files. Core reading, navigation and the balcony note generator do not require a saved preference.
One optional local-storage preference
If you choose “Save essential-only preference” below, the site writes the value essential-only under the key balcony-essential-preference in this browser’s local storage. It is a local record of your choice, not an identifier and not permission for optional tracking. No optional services are activated by these controls.
Local storage is different from a cookie: this preference is not automatically attached to ordinary web requests. It remains until you remove it, clear site data or your browser deletes it. There is no automatic expiry implemented for this value.

What the note tool stores
The balcony vision note stays in the current page and is not written to local storage by the tool. Copying places text on your clipboard at your request. Downloading creates a file on your device. Browser form restoration and clipboard history are controlled by your browser or operating system.

You can inspect or clear cookies and local storage using your browser’s site-data settings. Blocking local storage does not prevent reading the website or generating a note. Hosting infrastructure may maintain ordinary request or security logs; those are separate from cookies and browser storage. See Privacy for more information.
